Bauhaus Brew Labs — Data Strategy & Analytics System
Completed as part of the CoMIS 2025 global analytics competition interview, this project challenged me to
build a complete data strategy for Bauhaus Brew Labs within 24 hours and present it as a concise,
executive-ready recommendation.

The Challenge
Bauhaus Brew Labs, a growing craft brewery, needed a clear plan for collecting and using data
to support sales growth, product launches, and long-term expansion. The business operated with
limited marketing resources, fragmented data, and no centralized strategy. We were tasked with creating a data system
restructure that would be realistic for a small business while still enabling growth. As there was a 10 minute presentation
limit, we were only allowed 4 slides to present the data we collected and our recommendations.
Key Contributions
- Developed an end-to-end data strategy outlining what data to collect, how to collect it, and the systems required to support long-term growth.
- Created a minimalist, high-clarity slide deck that translated a complex challenge into a four-slide executive narrative.
- Designed a right-sized plan tailored to small-business constraints, avoiding expensive or unrealistic solutions.
- Presented a 10-minute briefing delivering practical and actionable insights under tight time pressure.
- Applied structured problem-solving using business intelligence principles and workflow mapping.
Strategy Breakdown
The proposed solution focused on three main pillars:
- Data Foundations: CRM data, sales channels, taproom behavior, distributor patterns
- Infrastructure: lightweight BI stack, automated data capture, simple dashboards
- Growth Enablement: demand forecasting, new product evaluation, targeted promotions

The final four-slide deliverable emphasized clarity over volume, highlighting:
